Inclement Weather Policy
The purpose of this policy is to let you know what you can expect when the roads in NWA are icy or snowy.
As your commercial cleaning and janitorial service provider, I take seriously my responsibility of cleaning your business well on a consistent basis. My team focuses every day on fulfilling our company vision, which is to provide you with a clean and orderly place to work.
Simultaneously, I also take seriously the responsibility that I have to my employees. As a caretaker of my team, I want to avoid putting my employees in an unreasonably dangerous situation. Safety of my team is a big priority for me.
With both of these obligations in mind, here is our plan when extreme weather events occur:
- Whenever possible, we will try to clean your building.
- If the roads are unreasonably slick or dangerous, we will advise our cleaners to stay off the roads that evening.
- In making the determination as to whether the roads are unreasonably slick or dangerous, we will consider whether the local schools or evening church activities are closed and whether the local weathermen have advised the public to stay off the roads. While these are key factors in our decision making process, they are not determinative.
- In the event that your building does not get cleaned because it’s determined that the roads are unsafe for our cleaners, we will resume cleaning as soon as reasonably possible (which will normally be the following evening) and at that time we will perform the additional work required to get the building back in great condition.
We acknowledge that there are situations and circumstances in which cleaning must be performed. In these extreme situations, we will do our best to find someone who can perform a scaled back cleaning during the inclement weather. Please advise us if this is you.
